This time our hero, Bark Lee Bartlett, a Vietnam Veteran turned cowboy, is unexpectedly transported back to a time in history where he is called upon to somehow correct the lies and treachery that have existed over the past 100 years or so. The stories about the lost gold of this mysterious “Dutchman” were so obscured that legend had become the accepted truth.

During his journey, Bark Lee encounters vicious cattle rustlers, who would rather shoot first and ask no questions later – beautiful women struggling on hard times – and an old prospector who seems to possess a fabulous gold treasure that no one is able to quite explain, let alone find!

All these elements combine to hold the reader spellbound until the very end.
