The Museum features the history, geology, early cultures and enduring lore of the Superstitions.

In the main building, where the gift shop is, visitors will find our museum gallery. As you enter, you will be greeted with a short video introducing the legends of the Superstition Mountain region.

As you proceed into the gallery, a timeline will lead you through the history of the region beginning with Native American culture, to early settlers and gold seekers, and ending with the development and ranching life of the 1900s. You will find an extensive presentation explaining the geologic history of the mountain and displaying many of the minerals abundant in the region.
