Jeff Grunow: 1997 Phoenix Light Phenomenon

The widely reported unidentified flying objects observed in the skies over Arizona and Nevada on March 13, 1997 is the subject of Jeff Grunow’s lecture. Thousands of people saw the lights between 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm and some witnesses described seeing what appeared to be a huge carpenter’s square-shaped UFO containing five spherical lights. Were the lights aircraft participating in a pilot training program, illumination flares dropped by aircraft or what then Governor Fife Symington described as “otherworldly?” Jeff Grunow, a local aficionado of all things “unexplained” will look back on the incident and enlighten attendees with his observations.
