Desert Safety and Survival (February)

Hiking or Camping in the Sonoran Desert is an amazing experience but can turn deadly if you are not prepared. In this special class former Green Beret Sergeant, Author and Survival Instructor John Jay Pelletier will teach you important tips about surviving in just about any situation. Learn what John Jay packs in his back pack.

Class fee of $40.00 includes a special survival kit for your back pack and a copy of his survival booklet.

The class will be held on the first Saturday of every month until February 3, 2024.

Scheduled events will be held regardless of weather conditions. Superstition Mountain Museum will issue no refunds for inclement weather. However, events are subject to change. Refunds, and as much advance notice as possible, will be given.

Amphitheater

The amphitheater and other outdoor locations on the Museum's property are available for outdoor events including small catered receptions. It is truly magnificent at twilight.

Imagine an intimate romantic wedding, candle-lit banquet or musical presentation with the Superstition Mountain at sunset as your backdrop!
